When we purchased the house in 2001, we were broke... I mean on a strict budget. I went to my wife and said that we only had enough money for a home theater or bedroom furniture. She chose the home theater. The living room was not ideal for a tube or flat panel TV, so we went with a projector. The result is a 110" screen and full 5.1 surround sound speaker system. Someday we will get a screen, but for now, we just project on the textured white wall. I like how things turned out, but cannot wait to upgrade to a full 1080 projector and get a screen.
