Phase 1 Detail: Planning

A. Budget
The original budget was less than fifteen grand. This budget came for research from internet logs and talking to people. Now that I am half way though the build, the fifteen grand was a joke. I am not saying that it is impossible, I am just stating the cuts would have made the kit not look right when finished. If I can get this done for less than twenty-five grand, I will be happy.

C. Suspension Design
I want to do a lot with the suspension, but will most likely run a good set of spacers until I get the money to purchase a wide track suspension with coil overs.

D. Which rims
I really like the look of the OEM rims. My wife states that the OEM 5 spoke rims are plain and better show off the lines of the car. I agree with her and will most likely get some 5 spokes.

E. Interior
I am planning on a mostly clean-looking OEM interior. A couple of notable exceptions will be the touch LCD screen in the center console and cup holders. (Yes, you heard me..cup holders. Roll Enzo roll.)

F. Time line

G. Quality of Build

Build Scale:
Show car (no imperfections with magnifying glass)
Drivable show car (no imperfections using naked eye)
10 foot (car looks good at 10 feet back)
20 foot (car looks good at 20 feet back)
20x100 (20 feet back,going 100 MPH)

I never thought about achieving "show car" status. I just do not have the skill set or budget. After all, this is my first complete kit car build. I did have dreams of attaining the "Drivable Show car", but now am thinking of the "10 foot" car.
